Every customer has their own body (the mannequin must be tuned to their measurements), their own taste, and their own gripes about the neighbours. Rose Your first customer
A cute ginger librarian in a green vest who saw your ad in the Town Herald. Her first commission is a work dress — something modest and professional that doesn't stand out. She returns later in the story with a new order.

Prudence Most searched · Trending Breakout
"Prudence might be many things, but she is definitely not prudent." A self-confessed gold digger circling the new Duke's fortune. She asks you to close the shop when she visits — she can't stand the idea of Twillford's other women catching the Duke's eye in your dresses. She and Priya trade barbs through you all day.

Priya Drama core
Niece of the recently deceased Duke — a man she happily calls dreadful — whose title passed to her brother. She commissions a funeral dress she doesn't look sad in: fierce, formal, gothic, not colourful. The goal: intimidate the suitors sniffing around the new Duke, Prudence chief among them.

Marie Laroche The demure newcomer

A newly arrived, very ambitious farmer transforming her holding into a fresh produce empire — and hosting a garden party while she's at it. Her gardening dress must be cute, playful, outdoor-proof, and contain at least three colours of fabric. Her brief in the sketchbook demo literally reads: "most of my dresses have paint stains."

The Vampire Weird & wonderful
A town resident of the more dramatic sort, who may or may not be planning to steal your cat. Their commissions run theatrical: high collars, deep colours, maximum drama.
