Dressmaker Commissions: All 47 Cards & Requirements
Updated Sep 29, 2026 · Verified against the full release
Every Dressmaker commission card in one place. Before you buy a single metre of fabric, check the exact Quality threshold, the style-tag targets, the colour and fabric rules — and the quirks the game never tells you, like hidden (Max) caps. Failing a card costs cloth, gold and an afternoon, so a 30-second check here pays for itself.
Use the filters to pull up one client's chain (like Adora's four cards), every card that needs a fabric or colour, or all dresses tied to an event such as the Duke's funeral. Requirements marked with a number and + are minimums; lines marked max are ceilings — overshooting them fails the card even when everything else is perfect. Only 4 cards carry ceilings: their max lines are flagged in red below, each with a warning note.
Both Cute 20 and Romantic 20 are ceilings, not targets — a dress that overshoots either line fails even with Quality, Professional and Warm maxed. Keep the styling plain and warm.
The highest Quality requirement of any card. If a well-sewn dress stays a few points short, try selling it and making it again, and check the client's measurements.
<b>Quality / style numbers with +</b> are minimums — the dress must score at least that high when the client inspects it.
<b>max lines are ceilings</b> — exceeding them fails the card. Dressmaker hides some of these on the card itself, so check the notes on the cards above.
<b>Colour and fabric rules</b> apply to the finished dress: Avoid / Use only restrict the palette, percentages measure the visible area, and plain numbers (Sequin 10) count accessory units.
<b>Budget</b> is the card's gold ceiling for materials. Fourteen cards print one; the rest scale with the event. Estimate your profit with the Sell Price Calculator.
Commission FAQ
Why did I fail Not Haughty with a high-quality dress?
Not Haughty caps Quality at 70 — the card never prints (Max), so a 97-point dress fails while a 62-point one passes. Stay at or below 70 and clear Simple 40+, Workwear 40+ and Uncomfortable 25+.
What is the hardest commission in Dressmaker?
Crowning Glory (Adora) demands Quality 95+ — the highest of any card — plus Elaborate 80+ and Formal 80+. Sew on-grain, verify the mannequin against the client's measurements, and don't be shy about remaking the dress.
How much do commissions pay?
Printed budgets run from 200G (Librarian Workwear) to 1000G (Sporting Chance), and the final payout is multiplied by quality and boutique prestige. Run the numbers with the Sell Price Calculator before committing to expensive silk.
Do event dresses count toward their client's chain?
Event sets (funeral, exhibition, hedge maze…) are tracked separately from each client's own commissions. Completing one does not complete the other, so if you're chasing achievements, finish both.
